Our society has an ever growing need for health care. The long-term care needs of an ever increasing elderly population, in particular, require skilled health care professionals. Phoenix Nurse Aide Training Center specializes in quality and excellence in CNA training in New York (Certified Nurse’s Assistant), CPR, PCA (Personal Care Aide), PCT (Patient Care Technician), Phlebotomy training in New York (Phlebotomy Tech), EKG Tech, and HHA training in New York (Certified Home Health Aide). We are committed to the development and implementation of programs to enhance individuals and organization productivity. We are licensed by the New York State Education Department.

WELCOME TO THE FIRST STEPS OF YOUR NEW CAREER!

The Phoenix Nursing Assistant Training Program is approved by and is licensed by the New York State Education Department and New York State Department of Health. This program, offered at Phoenix is open to those persons who are 17 years of age and older. The program provides students with 125 hours of classroom and lab skills instruction.

Classes consist of lecture, lab work, video, computer drills, and clinical rotation. Students will learn basic patient care skills and are provided with on-the-job training in an approved nursing home setting.

The Phoenix Program is designed so that students who complete the course should be well prepared to take the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) exam given by Prometric for the New York State Department of Health.
